Question: Why do so many people hate Jews?
We are all the same just with different beliefs. Is that why people hate Jews because they have a different view on religion?

Jealousy, Jealousy, Jealousy. In the middle ages, Jews (in order to survive; they had no homeland) learned to manage money in a way that enabled their villages of people to survive and eventually thrive. But we Christians became jealous of their success and made them out to be evil. Times haven't changed much, even though we are more restrained and many of us know that our ancestors were wrong about things like "Jews eat Christian babies." Anti-Semitism keeps rousing itself again and again, and it makes me nervous. I refuse to have anything to do with persecuting Jews.
Because Jews control a large amount of the worlds wealth and governments and they are jealous of there success. I think a lot of it has to do with one generation teaching the next generation to dislike Jews. Jews live in a very closed culture and I think a lot of people hate what they don't understand. A lot of spineless europeans dislike jews because they view Israel as an evil nation. Some people think they are being funny when they make fun of jews but there not. Some people hate jews because they are God's Chosen people and they are jealous of that. Bottom line is people who hate jews just because they are jews are the fools and they will get theirs, what goes around comes around and if I was them I would be worried.
Jews are very ethnocentric. They tend to favor and take care of their own and reject others. Even though they historically have been a bit different, I seen no reason that they have suffered as much as they have. I once spoke with a German that lived through the Hitler era and he told me that the Jews were so hated in Germany because they monopolized businesses and finance and wouldn't allow non-jews to infiltrate the system by giving them jobs, etc.
My dad's side of the family are Jews. My mom and my brother and sister were not allowed to visit my cousins and grandparents when I was a child since we were not Jews. My father was disowned his father.
In American south after the Civil War, Jews flocked to the south to take advantage of the despairate, starving southerners. They stole antiques and other goods they could get their hands on. They were called "Carpetbaggers". They not only stole from whites but from blacks as well.
I am now allowed to visit my Jewish relatives. I must say that they generally are not a likable sort in my opinion. They measure people by their jobs. If one is rich, they don't like them. If they are a doctor or a lawyer, they are happy. They contend to be big liberals and always support liberal causes. They will do anything to increase taxes in order to get the black person money so they won't move into their neighborhood or go to their schools.
This has been my experinece, yet I am not bitter and have found many very pleasant ones mostly when I lived in the midwest and south. They seem to assimilate better outside of the northeast.
That's a small fraction of the reason it's not based of religious beliefs alone. It's how jews usually only help jews. They act superior and those with money only contribute to helping other jews. I'm not saying this is a strict fact I'm just saying the stereotype.
This inane "answer" is a stenchwad of crap. Sorry your family sucks but that's them. You can't speak for all Jews. Many of us are deeply involved w/other cultures. And Jews were kept from jobs (manual labor) for centuries, so we relied on self-made gigs involving mental, rather than manual labor.
Jews are the evidence of God on earth which so many demand and fail to see it right under their nose.
According to Torah, the Jews will have good image among other nations if they obey God, and bad image if they don't.

The other part of it is that Jews tend to excel in most professional and cultural endeavors, so that provokes jealousy and resentment among non-Jews.
I didn't until I had a couple nasty name calling encounters with them, basic manners help.
