Question: Why do so many people hate Jews?
It seems like a lot of people throughout history really have a hatred for Jews. I don't know much about this, did they really do something to deserve this? I've heard that they have a secret plan to take over the world, is this true? I don't hate them but I really hate that silly little hat they wear but it doesn't make me want to kill them or anything.

Hitler hated them because he thought they were inferior to Europeans. He also thought they had a hand in the destruction of German economy.
Some people hate them because of the way they feel about Christians and other gentiles. Die-hard Jews follow the Tulmud and believe horrible, awful things about gentiles, Jesus and the Virgin Mary. However, most Jews don't follow it although they should if they want to be devout Jews.
Also, they control a lot of the media and have allegedly had a hand in the destruction of Christian morals by liberalism.

Why do so many people hate Muslims?
Answer: Jews refuse to convert. That irritates or even enrages some Christians and Muslims. By refusing to convert, that calls the later religions into question.
Others hate Jews because of the focus on G-d, religion, family, education and helping others over leaders or politicians - like Hitler who wanted a country focused on him and the Nazis, not on G-d.

I've wondered this a lot, and it might be because Jews often consider themselves the "chosen people" (which is why my parents flipped when I started dating non-jews). Although that gives them no license to exterminate us.
This is a little complicated. Part of it is a misunderstanding of Biblical texts where the Jews get blamed for crucifying Jesus, which is nonsense - Jesus was himself a Jew. However, Jews were allowed to loan money and for centuries Christians were not so the Jews became the bankers and money lenders which made them wealthy and the Christians jealous. I am grossly oversimplifying things, but those are the basics. The thing about "taking over the world" is based on nonsense from a hoax publication called "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" published by a rogue agent in Czarist russian secret police. Most of the Jewish people I have met or known were very nice people that I wouldn't mind having as neighbors.

The truth is that of all the religious groups I've had experience with, I respect Jews the most. They never knock on my door, they keep to themselves, they don't try to force their views into our science classes... they just believe what they believe and I respect that.
But they have been persecuted throughout history. Can't say why. Maybe it is the funny hats.

Learn your history. Jews have come up with the terms such "blood libel" to dismiss the documented history of their brutal crimes and depravity. It is their lawyer instict and their experience as being defendants in countless crimes throughout history and in every country that make them come up with such legalistic terms.
@ icipher your answer is half right. First of all those are Edomites(Descendants of Esau) that were proselytized by real Jews around 70 A.D. and they fought with the Roman Army against the Jews. When the Jews were taken into captivity, the Edomites disappeared as a nation. If you don't want to take Jesus word for it, read your history and you will find out that what I am saying is true.

Who did this happen to, surely not the man the world calls a Jew. History and the bible affirms that this is the so-called *****. Yes we are the Israelites and I'm not bragging, just stating a fact. Judah was just one tribe that Edom tried to claim and he has just eliminated the other 11 sons of Israel(Jacob).
