Question: Why is it ok to have topless guys in women magazines but it's offensive when a swimsuit woman is on the cover?

a lot of women (not all) make such a big deal about how we're degrading those swimsuit models... yet nobody men or women give a crap when some guy's on some magazine with his speedos
i think feminists need to chillax... it's just how the human mind works, guys would rather fantasize about megan fox than rosie o'donnell while girls would rather fantasize about brad pitt than about william hung
so why do you all make such a big deal out of some photographs? women can continue degrading men and we can continue degrading women.... we're biologically wired to be attracted to that type of body and that's the same case for women... it's not like we hate all other women, we just prefer something when it comes to the physical aspect of it... so to feminists: those models don't represent you just like how you don't represent your entire gender, get over it. this is why so many people think feminists are ugly, because all you do is hate on hot women.

Relation Questions:

Answer:

Nothing degrading, either way. Women who spend their time complaining about it have nothing better to do. They should spend that time doing something useful.

(Ran out of space) Apparently emotional abuse is only abuse coming from guys. There's an ad on TV about an 'abusive' guy going through his girlfriend's texts. I agree that's wrong, but why is it that when girls do it no one cares? Girls do this WAY more than guys, but it's always a guy in the ads...

Same reason sexual or physical abuse against women is a more serious crime than identical violence against a guy. Double standards and hypocrisy. Our society is full of them, and it's the main reason it's such a ****ed up world at the moment. I'm not just talking about gender here, it's everything from cultural norms to international relations.

Nothing p*sses me off more when someone says "This is wrong if you do it but not if that other person does it, because I'm on their side". something is either wrong or it's not. Where you're standing doesn't alter the law.

Or at least, it SHOULDN'T alter the law.

I don't have a problem with them, but I am thin and attractive. I can see why women with weight issues would be fed up with the "stereotypical" woman these days. It would be very hard to look at those airbrushed perfect bodies all the time. I say bring on the big girls and let em shine.

What about emotional abuse? A girl once got jealous because I had a girlfriend and wouldn't go out with her, so she spread a story around my school that I was secretly dating her and I cheated n her with my actual girlfriend. It destroyed my reputation utterly. Reaction? "Man up and deal with it."

Yeah fair enough, I don't get offended when I see physically attractive people on magazine covers, male or female.

The real question is why do you care if some woman thinks something is offensive. Tell her to stfu and ring up the damn magazine.

The whole "men degrade women by considering them sex objects" thing is BS.; women consider themselves and other women sex objects. Sexual attraction is natural, and nature doesn't care about morals.
By the way, it is not ok for women to see guys, they prefer to look at other women.
There are few guys on women magazines. It is a fact most women are lesbians (they find female secondary sex characteristics more appealing, indicating a preference for female features regarding human sexual dimorphism and showing they have a homosexual orientation) and unsurprisingly enough women magazines feature women.
