Question: Why are christains hated more than muslims or jews BY ATHEISTS?
you know, when someone posts a question about their christian beliefs, and all the ATHEISTS just start attacking christianity....
it just seems like they are targeted more than any other religion by atheists.
i'm a muslim by the way.
i'm not like, defending christianity, i'm just honestly curious

Let's see... the United States is inhabited by mostly Christians, so naturally, more or them will be "targeted."
However, do NOT even begin to assume that Christians and other theists are somehow innocent. In fact, it's WORSE when they do it because not only are they told not to (love they neighbor) they do it in swarms.
Christianity is the most present religion around them...atheists can be full of hate and Christians are the closest thing they can take it out on...that and Christianity is the true religion therefore it will always face persecution...It's funny though when you think about it....Jews have even bigger and stranger ways than Christians...and SOME Muslim groups believe that they have to kill those who don't follow their religion.
Should atheists hate muslims and Jews? You seem to be saying that those are the religions people should naturally hate. No I don't hate Christians. I don't hate Muslims and Jews either. I do despise religion however.

Because we live in a Christian country.
Christians are the majority in the US and in the English speaking world. So, if you happen to be a minority in that community, most of the religious garbage that you have to deal with will come from that majority religion.

Many Christians ask disrespectful questions (equating non-Christians with devil-worshipers, etc.), or use "questions" to make statements ("Why is it that...", or "Why do Atheists hate God?"). They also use Christian doctrinal statements as "answers" to questions about other religions. So they don't get treated as respectfully as you do. I am Buddhist, and the only rude comments I have gotten on this site were from Christians.
Because most atheists live in Christian-majority societies.
So, its just easier to attack the religion that's closest to you.
Also, in a Muslim country under Sharia law if you said you were atheist you would be killed.
Some Christians have the habit of dismissing or being rude to those who do not share their exact beliefs.
Atheists are just fed up with the rude Christians and they don't have to take the abuse here in Yahoo land
Because Christianity makes the most sense. And since it makes the most sense, it poses as the biggest threat to their atheist beliefs.
I think a better question is how atheists manage to hate each and every religious group more than they hate all the other ones.
both sides target each other and it's annoying. but it's because for every "atheists how do you get your morals" there is a "Christians would you be moral without your bible" questions
It's nothing personal against Christianity; they just seem to voice their opinion a little too loudly and a little too often.
