Question: What should I do if my dog throws up?
My dog is a mini schnauzers he is my first dog and i'm worried that he might be sick he threw up like a minute ago.I wanted to go to the vet but my family is going to Canada and so I took my dog out to eat grass.I heard that grass cleans their tummy and i'm scared it that ok, and right now he's sleeping will he be ok?

dont give him any food for a day or two, and if he seems to get better, then give him food. unfortunately, if he DOESNT get better, youll need to get him to the vet. please dont worry about canada, your dog is more important
Yes he will be fine grass helps get rid of what was making his stomach upset.
If he continues to throw up, you should go to a vet. However, since he is sleeping it sounds like he's going to be OK. I had a scare with my dog a little while back and I was up for hours waiting for him to feel better (it was late at night, 2am and I couldn't get him to a vet then). I ended up giving him a little Pepto Bismol to calm his stomach and it seemed to work. Anyway, if it lasts more than a few hours it's time to see a vet.
