depends on where you are adopting from. Call them and ask. For us it was our drivers license, leash, collar/harness, payment.
Just bring your ID. You will need to show that you are over 18. You can bring a collar and a leash if you want to but, they give you a temporary one to get the dog home.
Where I live, you bring money, ID, leash, collar and proof of rental agreements allowing pets if you rent.
you have to bring a dictionary so you can spell "adopting" LOL! soo funny.....jk but anyways, you should bring a crate to put the dog in and money to pay for the dog
At the animal shelter I volunteer at, just money and identification showing you are over 18. You will just have to fill out an application and they will give you a cheap leach to walk out with.
