Question: Should I get the Xbox 360 or the Sony PS3?

If i will be the one to buy i would prefer Sony Playstation 3. Sony has its popularity when it comes to the number of game softwares to choose from unlike the Xbox. It will be pricey at first but sooner or later it can be modified and can play imitation cds . Trendy are the consoles of the Sony compared to the size and design of the Xbox .
Technically, you could get the xbox 360 and the wii for just a little more than a PS3. I'm not a big fan of the games that are coming out for ps3 right now, so I'm waiting on buying mine.
xbox 360. it has better games in my opinion. i mean dont get me wrong, metal gear solid 4 is gonna be amazing, but the 360 just has a better selection and better games coming out in the future. ok so the ps3 graphics do look better as of RIGHT NOW. and everyone knows trailers look better then actual gameplay. but then microsoft is gonna come and release halo 3 and just blow gamers minds. so its kinda like a neverending battle between these two.

irwin g is an absolute idiot. the xbox 360 is smaller than that of the ps3. and inregards to the video on youtube blu ray discs were origanaly soposed to be 50 gigs, but they have been manufacturing them at 25 gigs instead, the xbox 360 out preforms the ps3 in almost every situation go to this link a detailed comparison
