Today i tried to say sorry to my friend, You see a few days ago we had a argument over her giving her "ex bf" a new cell number. The back story to this is this man cheated on her, stole from her, and hurt her me being a friend to her i told her it was a bad move for her to give him the number, well lets just say she ignored me.. and told me she still had feelings for the jerk.. now this man.. also begged her 5 times to be with him.. and each time she took him back only to be hurt each time.
Now... me being in the friends-zone..I have crazy amount of feelings for her.. i can say I'm in love with her..But she does not see it.. Sunday i was told that I'm not a good friend in supporting her. When it came to this man, tonight i sent her a long meaningful text saying i'm sorry. but i was only trying to be helpful to her.. but she took it as me trying to down her feelings when i wasn't.. But I'm wondering should I just leave her alone for good? or still try to be a good friend?

Be the good friend. I had this situation: I fell for a stupid guy and was always chasing after him even though he rejected and hurt me. I always turned to my best-guy-friend for support and he was patient and always there for me. After my final rejection I was crushed and decided to stop loving the stupid guy. Well well well, my best-guy-friend asked me out a couple of months later and we've been dating for almost a year. BE PATIENT MY FRIEND! Be there for her. If you can't be a boyfriend figure, wouldn't you still rather be good friends than nothing to her?
