Question: Long question but I would really really appreciate your help!?
There is this guy that I met that I really like at work. The problem is, I am moving to hawaii for grad school in the fall. This is good because then we won’t work together and it would be ok to date, but bad because I would be across the country…. He went to school there and worked there for like 3 years before moving in with his parents and getting a job here because he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. He loved it there and since he spent so much time there I do wonder if he would move back...
Obviously I couldn't ask him to, we are not even dating.
Sometimes I think he likes me. He walked past my office in the hallway, stopped, backed up, and stood by the doorway.
He smiled and asked if this is really where John (my coworker) works because he never sees him here. I thought that was strange of him to ask, because they are not really friends. I was like, yep, this is where he is. So then he hung around outside my door and we talked for like 5 minutes. Then, as he left, he nearly tripped over the trashcan outside cuz he wasn’t looking. I have to admit I was nervous and maybe ended the conversation earlier than I should have.
So why would he do that? I saw him staring at me a few times (at least I am about 70% sure)
I fb message him occasionally and sometimes he does to me to, although I think he prefers to talk in person.
So what do I do? Should I just become good friends with him and then, if he winds up in hawaii again I can say its meant to be? Should I tell him I like him as more than a friend? Or should I just stop talking to him altogether?
even if he moved there, it probably wouldn't be for another year or so, and I don't do Long distance so I would have to wait

Friends first... take some time with it, if he ends up showing up where you are then its fate.. but keep your options over.. Hawaii is full of beautiful people.., you never know who you might bump into. lol.. good luck to you :)
maube just maybe he might like u but he might not cause thats a big wrong turn you make when you assume someone likes you cause they could just wanna be friends but he might like you but you shuld ask him then tell him about hawaii
