Question: Is this a good idea for a fiction book? if so can u help me with a name?

Hi. Ive been trying to write a book for a while (im only 14 so like 3 years) and i finally came up with something i think is orginal....yes its a vamp. Book.

so this girl lives in a city, she lives wih her alcoholic dad who taught her how to fight like a beast. Well for girls in her city the only real way to make money is figting. Its where two girls fight until one is knocked out and then the money u get is determined on three things. While walking home one night a vampire asks her if she would like to make more money on the other part of the city fighting infront of oher vampires. She refuses but eventually gives in. She then begins fighting....but the prince vampire of her city hears about her and demands to meet her....he then develops an obsession for her. The vamp. Who got her into this likes her, too. Sooooo yeah...........
Is it good?

Relation Questions:

Answer:

You should never share your ideas with the world on a book because it can be stolen. say you write a book like this, do you know that your IDEA is not copyrighted. Only the words of your book? Don't worry about IF someone else thinks it is good. Write what you want to read. Also, usually you don't name the book until you are finished because if you do you run the risk of trying to write for your title. Write freely, then the name will come to you like magic when you are through

Pro writer here: Any idea can be good, it's how it's written that's the critical matter.

You want to be brilliant at that.

Here's how to go about it:

First, just put "Brilliant Working Title" at the top of the page and don't worry about it. (Bite Club's been taken, BTW. Twice now, look it up on Amazon.)

At some point in the writing a title will come to you.

Next, for each book you write, you have to read 200 other books. Doesn't matter what they are about, you just READ them. Make the library your 2nd home. Reading how other writers put together their books will help you with yours.

Essentially all writers are self-taught, but you can speed the process with all that reading. Make sure to get a few books from the 808 section of the library, which has all the books on writing and publishing. You'll need those.

When you get to a used bookstore, get a copy of ELEMENTS OF STYLE by Strunk & White. It will be in with the dictionaries. All writers have and use that book. Your future English teachers will think you're a genius because of it.
