Question: If i install Windows XP on my laptop will the drivers work?
My laptop had Win vista when i bought it but i installed win 7. it only has 1 gb of ram and its quite slow. games run slow as well. i know xp is the most stable Windows for games so i have a cd but what about the drivers. Will wifi still work? will graphic card work. BTW its a sony vaio. quite old bought it in 2007 :DD

No..if u install win xp u need drivers and if u install win 7,driver is not necessary.
Mostly in pirated win 7 wifi will not work perfectly...
so u need to download xp driver from website of ur laptop..
If you reinstall an operating system you will need to install the drivers again. You can download them to a USB now to save time. Make sure you at least download the network/Ethernet drivers.

If you have win7 why do you need XP? Best choice would be to keep win7 because its the best OS out so far, if you need to use XP win7 has a program called VirtualPC, that lets you run an OS inside an OS. You can run XP in another window but still have win7, you will just need an ISO file for XP on the program. Do a bit of research to find out about it, its a pretty useful program
