Question: I want tips on how to handle guilt?

I was at prom last night, this guy was pushing my best friend and so I pushed him away. I feel guilty for that, I also feel guilty for pushing away a guy that was trying to rub on me during the party. I don't want to feel this guilt, how do I handle it?

I'm afraid of you guys being mad at me for posting this here, because it has nothing to do with military. I posted it here because I'm infantry, and also because I know the military people here will know how to deal with guilt in hazardous situations.

PLEASE tell me you are not frigging active duty, if you are then the country is a world of hurt if you can not deal something as asinine as this.

Why should you feel guilty? The guy was pushing your friend, you defended a friend.
