Question: I want to buy a laptop and am leaning to a Sony VAIO , is it good?

Well at first I wanted an HP cause i know they are good but now i'm not sure. I am a huge anime fan so i watch a lot of videos, but then i work with photoshop and in general i use up a lot of space i'm not that big with games so i'm not sure what i should really be looking for. Now I heard so many comments about the Sony, some people say its good and some don't so I don't know who to listen to.

I'm in dieing need for help, so if someone can tell me if i should get the VAIO or some other company, your help is greatly needed.

Thanks - Haru-chan

Answer:

Sony is a company that charges you for its brand name. HP doesn't nor does acer, sony is also known for having slow processors, the only thing they do well is making their laptops light, i instead recommend with machine it is awesome- wish i would have waited and bought that instead of my hp laptop, but, mines still good-http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Acer-Aspi…
this is good with 3 gbs of ram for large photoshop files and large hard drive 320gb basically the largest you'll find on a laptop, nice large screen too for movies, and photoshop, good wireless and audio controls, this laptops got it all

If you're asking about which brand is better, let me recommend Toshiba, HP or Asus.
But if you want to know about a good computer for you, take a look at the graphics card, how much memory it has, and the processor.

i got a sony vaio laptop and i would never use anything else again, sony vaio are a superb laptop, very reliable and exellent quality, they may be a little more expensive than some others but you get what you pay for and it is well worth the little bit extra. look for a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, most sonys will have this but always check, that acer that someone mentioned does not have this, it used shared graphics memory which is not so good

sony vaio's are great! i've ran a computer business for about five years now, and i've never had to work on a sony vaio. they are very stable, they are also a little more pricier, but you know the saying, you get what you pay for, lol.
