Question: Gum peeling from the tooth?

okay so its been like this for some time now, but on one of my teeth, the gum is slightly peeled off. it's not getting worse or anything, but it just looks like its just detached. it can be slightly folded over and thats when you can see just a bit of the root of the tooth. there's no pain at all, i'm just wondering why this is happening and if there is a way to fix it.

Answer:

I think thats gum disease bro

I'm not sure the state of your mouth, but it sounds like perio disease. When was your last cleaning and exam? Are you brushing twice a day? Are you flossing!(This one is so important!) Did you know that perio disease is also linked to heart disease and can cause infection to travel to other parts of the body? Yes, it can really make you seriously ill or cause death, many people do not know this. Your tooth may look harmless, but you could have something serious lurking in that gum tissue. See your dentist ASAP!

Flossing your teeth twice a day and brushing for 2 min twice a day will help fix it.
