Question: Did I do the right thing here? It's about phone services?
I want to get TPG internet ADSL2 but when I phoned up they said I need to get a phone service from Telstra first for your home phone. That is going to cost me $299 to get the phone service and the monthly rental is with telstra for 30 dollars per month and I get $100 for free local calls.I did all that and got it approved they're sending a guy out to put my phone online. Then after that I was hoping to get TPG internet once my phone is connceted and once I've bought a house phone. I'm Australian by the way does this sound like the right thing I did. I just want a home phone put online and I want to get the internet joined up next week did I do this right? Or is this going to cost me dearly? I have 750 dollars saved up for it and a credit card if I need more. I just wanna know if I'm doing this right.

have you signed up with TPG internet??.
.well if you signed a deal with them, you are stuck with it.till contract runs out..
.and it sounds like you got dial up where ya cant use your landline phone if you are on the net..
if you never signed a contract..ring around for the best deal for you...
