Question: Computer restarting with blue and white screen?
Hi, my Computer is constantly giving me and error that completely stops whatever I'm doing and comes up with a blue and white screen that says: there was a problem, your computer will be restarted to protect it or something. I don't know the exact message because I can barley see what it says before it restarts. There is no virus, I've checked with several anti-virus programs. It usually does this every 10-30 minutes. Please Help

BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) can be due to several reasons such as:
1. Bad or failing hardware
Solution: remove whatever you attached very recently for the meantime and observe.
2. Overheating
Solution: Clean your fan and make sure the vents aren't clogged with dust.
3. Bad device driver
Solution: use updated drivers for the right hardware.
4. Corrupted operating system
Solution: reset to factory defaults or do a clean install of the OS, drivers and then reinstall applications
5. Corrupted software
Solution: reinstall the affected software.
6. Malware infection
Solution: scan with a decent and reputable antivirus and anti-spyware.
Try to eliminate all those possibilities one at a time. In most cases, the BSOD gives an STOP error code which can be used as a hint to what caused it. Google for that STOP error code.
