Question: Can Anyone recommend a gaming laptop?

I want a laptop for essentially playing massive strategy games (civ 5, football manager) and some first person shooters. I don't really know much about computers so this is why I'm asking. I'm willing to spend around £700 ($1000). The problem is when you google it you just get manufacturer claims.

If you can't recommend a specific laptop then if you could recommend a level of processing power or gaming card or memory or whatever that would be great. Thanks

I personaly got an hp laptop for around 700 pounds (cant remember exact) its the dv6 model which has a core i7 processer and a amd radeon 6770m graphics card (really good) i think any laptop with these specs would be goof for ANY game especially strategy games. most people wouldnt recommend hp but u can buy any brand you want :D hope i helped
